The Parsons Field Institute had been conducting ecological research for over a decade with the goal of maintaining a healthy Sonoran Desert ecosystem in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and beyond. Communicating our results to the public and scientific community are a vital part of making conservation happen. Below are scientific publications, technical reports, research posters, and other information from across our various areas of study. These findings showcase the hard work and dedication of staff, citizen scientists, and research partners and provide the foundation for the management decisions to protect and conserve desert open-space.
The threats to our natural world have never been greater. It is only with the support of dedicated Arizona conservationists that we can protect the Sonoran Desert for future generations.
