This program brings fun and interactive learning activities into your classroom. Students spend 1 hour exploring the Sonoran Desert and learning about our role in its conservation. Expedition Days on the Road is currently available for 3rd and 4th grade students from September to May.

Students participate in science as they explore the Kovach Family Nature Trail at the Lost Dog Wash Trailhead . This 90-minute field trip is designed for multiple classes (up to 120 students). Students will be split into small groups to work in teams as they make observations, collect data, and review their findings in this immersive experience. Expedition Days on the Trail is currently available for 3rd and 4th grade students from October-April.
