Yoga Hike at Lost Dog Wash Trailhead

Location: Lost Dog Wash Trailhead – 12601 N 124th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85259

Skill Level: Moderate

Distance: 2.2 miles

Time: 2 hours

This hike starts with a mindful yoga warm-up led by a certified yoga instructor then climbs to the Lost Dog Overlook for mindful standing poses and breathing exercises.  We will return to the trailhead via the same route for a restorative cool-down emphasizing stretching, opening and release of major muscle groups for better recovery and mobility.  The hike will cover 2.2 miles with an elevation gain of approximately 200 feet.

Restrooms and water are available at the trailhead.  Wear yoga attire and trail shoes.  Bring water and a yoga mat (no props needed).  Arrive 15 minutes before the start of the hike.
