Free Family Fun

On June 24th the Conservancy is bringing back this free family event. The Arizona Children’s Learning and Play Festival hosts more than 15,000 attendees in a day filled with learning, exploring, and playing. This public event highlights activities that are all about children’s education, health, wellness, active play, and exploration. Vendors come from throughout the Valley and include authors, illustrators, STEAM partners, live performances, wildlife exhibits, and much more.

The Children’s Learning and Play Festival benefits The McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that has been an advocate for and champion of the Sonoran Desert for more than three decades. We have emerged as one of the leading volunteer organizations in the nation, a committed partner in scientific research, and an indispensable educational resource for our community. Core to the Conservancy’s mission, education plays a critical role in inspiring people to have a positive impact on the environment. The Children’s Learning and Play Festival provides an opportunity for children and families to engage in interactive learning and discovery through play.
