Trailside Naturalist – Keep Wildlife Wild at Gateway Trailhead
Location: Gateway Trailhead – 18333 N Thompson Peak Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85255
Time: ~2.5 hours
Stop by anytime between 8:30 and 11:00 A.M. to learn about human impacts on our local wildlife and how to protect them.
How does a bobcat mother move a litter of kittens? One by one, many times through neighborhoods like we live in. Even though it looks as if a baby animal has been abandoned, it is more than likely waiting for it’s mother to return. The Trailside Naturalists will answer questions about what to do when we come across animals in the desert or where we live.
