Stoneman Road Educational Walkabout at Fraesfield Trailhead
This interpretive walk covers the history of the area prior to the construction of the Stoneman Military Road, the uses of the road, military life in Arizona during the 1870s, and the famous and infamous persons who traveled the road. At the conclusion of the walk, participants open a soldier’s haversack and learn what’s inside.

Bathrooms are available at the trailheads. Bring water and snacks for the trail. No dogs please. Arrive 15 minutes before start of hike.
