Did you know that you have your own Sonoran Desert wild kingdom, right here in Scottsdale? The Scottsdale McDowell Sonoran is home to over 1,000 plants and animals, all with their own unique, strange, and fascinating adaptations to life in the Sonoran Desert. From the tiny fairy shrimp that emerge only after rain to majestic mountain lions roaming the mountainsides, there is never a dull moment. Come learn about some of the creatures that call the Preserve their home, and the people who study them! Zoom link available below.
