There are many unusual ways in which humans end up ten toes in the air in the middle of the Sonoran Desert.  This presentation and audience
discussion provide information on how to deal with rattlesnakes, Gila monsters, scorpions, mountain lions, bees, heat stroke, hypothermia, and the occasional hostile cactus, just to name a few.  The speaker and audience discuss appropriate ways to respond so that desert enthusiasts can come away with nothing more than a great story.
