Gateway Loop Hike at Gateway Trailhead

Location: Gateway Trailhead – 18333 N. Thompson Peak Pkwy. Scottsdale, AZ 85255

Skill level: Moderate

Distance: ~4.5 miles | Time: ~2.5 hours

Finish out our hike season on the Gateway Loop that will take you into the heart of the McDowells. Challenging in the spring heat. Elevation gain of 700 ft.

Pets are not permitted at our activities due to safety concerns. If you would like to request an accommodation for your service animal, please contact our office at least two weeks before the event you plan to attend.

The difficulty of hikes varies. Please choose hikes that match your fitness level. Restrooms are available at the trailheads. Bring Water and snacks for the trail. Arrive 15 minutes before the start of the hike.
