We will talk about mineralogy\, weathering processes and volcanism in Arizona as well as geology’s impact on the people\, plants and animals in the area. \nPlease arrive 15 minutes prior to start of the walk. This Intermediate Skills and Moderate Cardio Ride for about 3 hours over 11-12 miles will take us thru the various geological formations of the area. Get the big picture on a bike. \nA bike with wide knobby tires is required. Please\, no road bikes\, hybrids\, or folding bikes. Please check the working order of your bike before you leave home.
