Celebrate the coming New Year on this difficult but rewarding hike! The views along this challenging path will make the miles go faster. Elevation gain of 1,500 ft. Experienced hikers suggested.
Location: Gateway Trailhead – 18333 North Thompson Peak Parkway, Scottsdale, AZ 85255
Skill level: Difficult
Distance: ~7.0 miles
Time: ~4.5 hours
Bathrooms are available at the trailheads. Bring water and snacks for the trail. No dogs please. Accommodations for service animals must be made in advance. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the hike.
