SONORAN FIELD TRIPS
FOR SCHOOLS AND GROUPS BY RESERVATION ONLY
Enhance your desert experience and learn about the wonders and hidden treasures of the Preserve. Children can connect to the natural and cultural resources of the Preserve’s Sonoran Desert on field trips for school groups, Scout groups, and more. These visits to the Preserve meet Next Generation and Arizona science and heritage curriculum standards, giving children the opportunity to touch, hear, and even smell things that will enhance their understanding of our natural world.
These 60–90 minute field trips are suitable for ages 6–12 and are guided by specially trained volunteers. Private groups can include 10 to 40 people. These field trips are offered from early October through March and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact us to schedule your tour at least 3–4 weeks in advance. Suggested Donation: $10.00 per adult, $5.00 per child.
